Purpose and Values
At this year’s Paris Fashion Week, Church’s unveiled an innovative partnership with Japanese designer Noir Kei Ninomiya for his first footwear collection (Fall/Winter 2020), under the brand Noir Kei Ninomiya for Church’s.
The roots of Ninomiya’s creativity lie in exploring new volumes and monochrome themes, and this new collection investigates colour, playfully alternating between red and black. Following the same approach, Church’s has created a series of Shannon shoes in solid red or black for Noir Kei Ninomiya, embellished with metal flowers and with a matching sole; the three exclusive and ornate models, decorated with safety pins and silver-coloured studs, appeared on the catwalk with the Noir Kei Ninomiya Fall/Winter 2020 collection on 29 February in Paris.
The collection will be distributed from October 2020 in Church’s flagship single-brand stores, by selected retailers in Noir Kei Ninomiya’s wholesale network, and online at www.church-footwear.com, where a special section will be created dedicated to this partnership.
