Milan, 19^th November 2025 – Prada Linea Rossa is once again collaborating with Red Bull on its unique sporting initiatives by supporting athletes to succeed during extraordinary challenges.

In the latest development of this ongoing partnership, Austrian wingsuit pilot Peter Salzmann performed a one-of-a-kind feat by generating a pioneering wingsuit flight in El Hierro, the smallest and westernmost island of the Canary Islands, Spain.

Using a specially designed foil wing, Salzmann achieved sustained level flight and gained altitude by harnessing rising air along a mountain ridge. By carefully balancing his descent with updrafts and executing tight, controlled turns, he was able to maintain lift and generate a soaring flight in moderate wind conditions at around 40 km/h, marking a significant breakthrough in this discipline by demonstrating that sustained soaring is possible without relying on extremely strong winds.
During one of his flight passes along the ridgeline, the athlete managed to gain 67 meters of altitude – roughly the height of a 22-story building – an impressive achievement for this sporting activity.

Inspired by the human body and the duality between the demands of movement and advanced textile development, Prada Linea Rossa equipped Salzmann with functional accessories, designed to meet the complexities of this challenge.
