PRADA GROUP AND VISION+,
TOGETHER FOR PREVENTION
Prada Group, in partnership with Vision+ Onlus, has chosen to offer all its employees of the industrial sites in Tuscany a free vision screening between March 19th and 23rd, 2018. The screening, divided into two age groups, 18-30 and over 45, foresees to involve around 1000 employees.
The project is aimed at examining eyesight and identifying possible risk factors related to the most important ocular pathologies.
In the first group (age 18-35) they will search for refractive defects which can be corrected with lenses and various pathologies of the cornea, such as keratoconus and corneal verticillata; in the second age group (over 45), particular attention is paid to the possible presence of glaucoma and maculopathy.
Furthermore, from May 7th to June 8th, Prada Group supports a series of free vision screenings dedicated to students of the University of Milan, in the main branch in Via Festa del Perdono.
Vision+ Onlus, established in 2005, promotes and supports prevention programs in the field of ophthalmology. Its mission is to help reduce avoidable blindness through national and international programs, in partnership with local organizations. Prada Group supports Vision+ in promoting early diagnosis as valuable tools to ensure a better quality of vision and life.
