Milan, 21st June 2024 - The guests of Fondazione Buzzi per l'Ospedale dei Bambini were welcomed yesterday, Thursday 20 June, at the Fondazione Prada headquarters, to celebrate their achievements and present their new objectives, including supporting the creation of a "Shock Room", a space custom-designed for children, with state-of-the-art equipment, in a welcoming environment, designed to guarantee their comfort and safety even in the most emergency situations. With the arrival in the new building of the Nuovo Grande Buzzi in Milan, the 2,000 square metre Emergency Room will allow an additional 11,000 children to be cared for each year, in addition to the current 33,000.
During the evening, Stefano Simontacchi, Guido Bertolaso, Pier Domenico Garrone and Massimo Ciampa - respectively President of the Buzzi Foundation, Councillor for Welfare of the Lombardy Region, Advisor to the Minister of Defence and Secretary General of Mediafriends Onlus - thanked the donors of the Buzzi Foundation and presented the new commercial "MISSIONE: A SPACE PRONTO SOCCORSO. "Se salviamo i bambini salviamo i loro sogni' ('If we save children, we save their dreams'), produced by Mediaset's Creative Direction and Image Coordination in collaboration with the agency Coo'ee Associata UNA, and filmed at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan in the permanent exhibition dedicated to space, which features Italian astronaut Andrea Patassa, Captain of the Italian Air Force, as its testimonial.
Thanks to the hospitality of the Fondazione Prada, the guests took part in a guided tour of the 'Pino Pascali' exhibition curated by Mark Godfrey.
