The start of 2017 has seen the opening, or reopening following major restyling, of two Prada stores, all in markets of particular strategic importance for the brand:
PRADA HONG KONG SOGO – following a major expansion and restyling of the interior design, the Sogo Mall Prada shop in the Causeway Bay district of Hong Kong reopened on 13 January. It now has a floor area of 240 m² over two levels, and houses the men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories collections, on the second floor and ground floor respectively.
PRADA MANILA – Prada’s second shop in Manila, located inside the ‘Solaire Resort and Casino’, a leading attraction for luxury shopping for tourists and locals alike, opened on 20 January. The 105 m² space, dedicated to the men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories collections, is on a single storey, with a classic black and white chequerboard marble floor covered in an assortment of new moquette rugs with geometric patterns. The classic Prada green dominates the canvas-covered walls, and the furnishings are rounded off by steel and glass display cases and green velvet Osvaldo Borsani chairs.
