‘Attraverso i muri di bruma’ (Through Walls of Mist), a choreographic project conceived by Scottish artist Billy Cowie, will take place at Fondazione Prada from 28-30 September. Developed in collaboration with the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi, the show will feature eleven newly-graduated dancers from the school’s Dance Theatre course.
The project is divided into two parts: in the first section seven events will happen simultaneously in various spaces, both inside and outside, whilst the final event will take place in the courtyard between the Cinema and the Podium, where the audience will gather for a performance by the eleven dancers opposite the mirrored wall of the Cinema.
‘Attraverso i muri di bruma’ is the second performing arts events put on by Fondazione Prada, which is currently expanding its cultural programme. It is also a significant opportunity to collaborate with a group of young dancers and an educational institution as renowned as the Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi, which has been training contemporary choreographers, performers and dancers since 1986.
