‘Lo shopping fa bene alla salute’ (Shopping is Good for You) will return for the sixth time on Saturday 1st October, part of the traditional Pink Ribbon Campaign for breast cancer prevention promoted by LILT (Lega Italiana Lotta ai Tumori, Italian League for the Fight against Cancers). The initiative was initially suggested by the Prada Group to the MonteNapoleone Association, which has developed it over the years, turning it into an important show of solidarity.
On 1stOctober the Milanese shops on Via Monte Napoleone, Via Verri and Via Sant’Andrea that are members of the Association will donate 10% of the day’s takings to LILT; this year over 60 businesses have confirmed their participation in the initiative, which raised over €220,000 in 2015.
It goes without saying that the Prada Group will once more be taking part, with the Prada womenswear and menswear, Miu Miu and Church’s stores all involved, as well as Pasticceria Marchesi, which is taking part for the first time.
