Prada has created an exclusive bag inspired by the French capital and its unmistakable “bleu, blanc et rouge” for “Paris”, a project launched by Le Bon Marché, the luxury Parisian department store that has been the destination of choice for high society since 1852. From 27th August to 15th October the most prestigious brands from each of the store’s departments are displaying a particularly emblematic product inside the iconic building on Rue de Sèvres, all drawing inspiration from Paris. With the items produced in limited edition and sold exclusively at the event, the aim is to create the perfect homage to the city on every storey and in every shop window of the large store.
Prada’s space is home to the Bibliothèque bag, made of Saffiano and city calf leather and with Baltic blue quadrants, side pleats in fire engine red and white, and gold accessories, thus recreating the famous French Tricolore, which also appears on the specially-designed packaging.
