Seoul: Cheongdam-dong

Miu Miu continues its expansion in Korea with a new store opening on Cheongdam-dong, Seoul’s most prestigious shopping thoroughfare.
Arranged over two storeys, the new store sells accessory, bag, footwear and ready-to-wear collections.
In this new space, the image of Miu Miu’s retail environment is renewed, with the gold damask here sky-blue. Both ceiling and carpet are in that same shade, creating a coherent interior that is both intimate and contemporary, in a quintessentially feminine atmosphere throughout.
The ground floor is home to bags, accessories and footwear whereas the first floor, reached via an elegant black marble staircase, is principally dedicated to ready-to-wear.
To celebrate this important opening, Miu Miu has launched “CustoMIUsation”, an unprecedented project where a selection of handbags can be exclusively and uniquely tailored to the taste of each customer (see attached press release). Moreover, on the opening day, an in store cocktail – attended by celebrities, actors and actresses, show biz, movie industry and media representatives as well as selected local VICs – took place and was followed by of an exclusive dinner at The Orium restaurant, one of the city’s high society landmarks. Amongst the guests who attended the event Hyo Joo Han, Tiffany, Yoon Young Bae, Young Kwang Kim, Soo Hyuk Lee, Snag Woo Kim, Ji Won Ha, Iren Kim, Hye Jung Lee, Ho Yeon Jung, Hea Young Lee, Ah Sung Go.
