Miu Miu perfume and the advertising campaign that supports it were showcased in two special projects in two iconic international department stores: Bloomingdale’s in New York and Metro Paragon in Singapore, both amongst the leading shopping venues in the two cities.
Bloomingdale’s: from May 27th to June 2nd, in addition to a display space dedicated to the fragrance, the perfume floor hosted a large-scale reproduction of the Miu Miu perfume packaging, made of transparent plexiglass and coloured neon lights. The giant reproduction box contained a bevelled mirrored panel with blue rhombi and a transparent central oblong that accentuated and highlighted the bottle on display. Other spaces were also involved, in particular the window next to the lifts, which was emblazoned with images and graphics from the advertising campaign, starring actress Stacy Martin and shot by photographer Steven Meisel.
Metro Paragon: from 3 to 9 June a personalised 50 m² pop-up area near the department store’s main entrance on Orchard Road was dedicated entirely to Miu Miu perfume. The structure was open on all four sides, and inside the fragrance was the unashamed star of the show, set amongst iconic Miu Miu decorations such as golden damask and velvet chairs and alongside large backlit panels with images from the perfume’s advertising campaign.
