Throughout April and May the Fondazione Prada’s first children’s project, the Accademia dei Bambini, is organising ‘Erbari Vagabondi’ (‘Vagabond Plants’), a series of free workshops designed by architect and plant nursery owner Marianna Merisi, with activities on offer for both children and families.
During the workshops, participants can explore various aspects of the special world of vagabond plants: this is a chance to explore and get to know seeds and depict them using various techniques and materials, including wax crayons, watercolours, colouring pencils and tissue paper.
The full range of upcoming events and booking information can be found here: http://www.fondazioneprada.org/accademia-dei-bambini/
The Accademia dei Bambini project has been developed by paediatric neurologist Giannetta Ottilia Latis, who established its theoretical and operational basis and keeps track of its contents.
