With work now completed on various parts of the Valvigna headquarters, the brand-new industrial complex near Arezzo in Tuscany designed by world-leading industrial architect Guido Canali, the CEO’s office and the management control, administration and industrial human resources departments are now fully operational, in addition to the adjacent automatic cutting department and material and accessories warehouse.
Since August, 700 employees have been moved from the old headquartes a couple of miles down the road in Terranuova Bracciolini to the new building. It is divided up by brand and collection, each one with a dedicated product room, product office, pattern-making facility and workshop. The new headquarters, which contains all brands and units within its walls, will optimise Prada’s work from a logistical and organisational point of view, generating economies of scale, and will also improve quality due to the size and excellence of the facilities and the advanced, cutting-edge technology found within each unit.
