On Saturday 13 May an exhibition entitled ‘The Boat is Leaking. The Captain Lied.’ (Prada Group Journal #3), curated by Udo Kittelmann, will open to the public at Ca’ Corner della Regina, the Fondazione Prada’s Venice venue. Inside the 18th-century building every visitor will be completely free to create their own narrative, moving both physically and conceptually through three different creative worlds: cinema, visual art and theatre. Films and photographs from artist Thomas Demand and director Alexander Kluge will overlap with the layouts devised by set and costume designer Anna Viebrock. One room will be dedicated in its entirety to the work of Angelo Morbelli, the painter from Lombardy whose creation Last… Days! (1883) was the subject of a discussion between the three artists and the curator of the exhibition, leading to the development of the project.
