The iPhone and iPad project was launched with the aim of allowing all staff in Miu Miu and Prada Stores across the world to get their customers more involved, and to communicate with them on an increasingly direct and personalised level.
The group will provide all shop assistants with an iPhone, complete with its own email address and telephone number, whilst boutiques will be provided with iPads, which will allow access to the most important information about each customer, as well as the opportunity to browse current advertising campaigns and the latest products. The devices will also be able to share images and video content, and users’ personal areas will be customisable to match their requirements.
The project was launched in a few pilot stores in January, and will gradually be extended to cover the entire retail network.
