Osservatorio, a new display space from Fondazione Prada dedicated to photography and the visual arts, will open in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan on 21 December 2016.
Fondazione Prada aims to use Osservatorio to explore contemporary photographic and visual representations of the present day, aiming to expand its repertoire of tools to interpret contemporary life.
Housed in a 800m2 space on two levels on the fifth and sixth floors of one of the gallery’s central buildings, Osservatorio has an evocative location directly beneath the landmark glass and iron dome that towers over the octagon.
The first exhibition at Osservatorio will be Give Me Yesterday by Francesco Zanot, which will run from 21 December 2016 to 12 March 2017. See the next edition for more details.
