Like the previous years, the Prada brand was included in the 100 most valuable global brands in the Interbrand’s chart, this year at the 81st position, the only Italian brand along with Gucci. The Interbrand’s chart – a proper worldwide reference in ranking brands – awards the world’s most ‘desirable’ brands according to their own values and not according to the companies’. Prada has been included in the Interbrand’s ‘Top 100’ for years now, in different positions, better or worse than this year’s, depending on the brand performances in the guidelines that Interbrand sets to determine the positions in the chart. Regardless of Prada’s current position, it is important to notice Prada’s continuity in the Interbrand’s ‘Top 100’ for years, and how it was constantly awarded this status year after year, unlike many other brands.
