New to the third edition of Prada Journal – the Prada Feltrinelli Prize is the transformation from the written to the spoken word. The story-telling evolves into a real three-dimensional literary experience, and the winning stories become theatre performances within a modern digital scene. They cross the boundaries of time and space, veering towards virtuality, in an unprecedented visual format, with which the audience can interact.
The innovative digital theatre breathes life into the four winning stories and gives the audience the opportunity to choose how they perceive each story. Prada invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a 360 degree theatre performance where the digital audience can move around the scene, explore the setting and change their point of view during every interpretation.
The optical frames from the Prada Journal collection, developed in collaboration with Luxottica, are the key tool for exploring the world through different lenses.
Kei Matsushima (Conversations with Shadows), Flávio Vinicius Moreira Costa (Lieutenant Marcus), Billie Phillips (No Balm in Gilead) and Maria Laura Rodriguez (The Hour of the Wolf) are the winners of the third edition of Prada Journal – the Prada Feltrinelli Prize.
