From May the 27th to September the 11th, Ca’ Corner della Regina, Fondazione Prada’s Venitian venue, will host “Belligerent Eyes|5K Confinement”, a pioneering project on the search for new grounds on cinema and visual languages.
“Belligerent Eyes” was born out of the Fondazione’s will to create a reciprocally stimulating exchange with younger generations working in the realms of cinema and visual arts research and production: a film school prototype revolving around the future of motion pictures and aimed at introducing new didactic perspectives in both filmmaking and film studies.
Conceived and designed by independent architect Luigi Alberto Cippini and developed in collaboration with film director Giovanni Fantoni Modena, “Belligerent Eyes” is composed of six cross-curricular phases, with the final phase scheduled in conjunction with the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.
