The new Prada Linea Rossa collection was previewed on 8 September in New York, at Prada Epicenter on Broadway.
The shop’s furnishings, like all the collection’s launch events, were inspired by the backdrop of the Prada Fall/Winter 2018 menswear fashion show – a logistics warehouse with boxes and crates featuring symbols of the Prada brand.
Guests at the evening in New York were entertained by a live performance from singer Kali Uchis and DJ sets from Soo Joo Park and Josh McLellan. Over 1000 people attended the event, including celebrities and socialites such as Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse, Anok Yai, Ansel Elgort, Khalid, A$AP Rocky and Derek Blasberg.
This first event was followed by another three: a DJ set from Elli-Rose entertained many local celebrities and influencers at the Prada stores on Canton Road (Hong Kong, 12 September), Prada Rong Zhai (Shanghai, 13 September), with a pop-up store on the first floor, attracted over 500 top guests from the worlds of cinema and fashion, including Qin Shupei, Jiang Du, Li Qin, Hou Minghao and Toby Li, and Prada Epicenter Aoyama (Tokyo, 14 September) was brought to life with a welcome cocktail for over 700 guests and DJ sets from Yuka Mizuhara Seiho and Licaxxx.
