Milan’s traditional La Vendemmia event will be held on 12 October in the shops of Via Monte Napoleone and Via Sant’Andrea and, this year, it is also being extended to Rome, involving the stores on Via dei Condotti and Piazza di Spagna on 19 October.
For the occasion, each brand selects a highly prestigious winery to host within their premises, inviting guests to taste the various wines until late in the evening.
The Prada menswear and womenswear and Church’s shops are representing the Prada Group in both cities, twinned with Sette Ponti, whose Oreno Super Tuscan wines have graced the upper reaches of the Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate rankings numerous times, and Feudo Maccari. Crognolo (Sette Ponti) and Rosé di Nero d’Avola (Feudo Maccari) will be on offer in the Prada womenswear stores, Vigna dell’Impero and Oreno (both Sette Ponti) will be available in the Prada menswear shops and Maharis (Feudo Maccari) will be served in the Church’s stores. In Milan, Miu Miu is also taking part, showcasing the Olli Grillo and Saia wines from the Feudo Maccari winery.
Moreover Marchesi 1824 of Via Monte Napoleone is amongst the exclusive tearooms/patisseries and restaurants of cities’ heart, which celebrate the event with the special “La Vendemmia” menu from 9-15 October in Milan and 16-21 October in Rome.
