Prada was involved in a takeover at Isetan Tokyo, the prestigious department store in the Japanese capital, where from 26 September to 3 October the brand presented special window display installations and two pop-ups dedicated to its women’s collections.
The ground floor space, dedicated to a special selection of bags and accessories, was surrounded by a circular video wall shell, with a ‘Rabbit’ print on the walls, shelves and display elements. The pop-up store on the second floor, meanwhile, focusing on sneakers, featured the historic black-and-white chequered floor and a display wall that echoed the leitmotif of the fourteen windows, a series of large posters inspired by Prada’s vision of the role of women in contemporary society.
Presentation corners at the Center Street VP Stage, customised with four semi-circular spaces featuring the ‘Rabbit’ print, completed the takeover.
