On 15 July the historic open-air Supercinema cinema in Forte dei Marmi, one of Italy’s most prestigious summer resorts, hosted an exclusive showing of the film Prada Cinéma attended by the star performer, model Giedre Dukauskaite. The film, created to promote the new Prada eyewear collection, tells a deceptively simple story of a day at the cinema, where what seems like a standard escape to the movies gives way to an unexpected plot, visually evoking the pleasure of going to the cinema in a delicate and playful mix of metaphors, strange moments and surreal make-up. To mark the occasion, the Prada store in Forte dei Marmi, located next to Supercinema, was transformed into a foyer, with decor inspired by the imagery of the film, with 600 guests welcomed for cocktails at sunset and an after-party.
