Shaping a Creative Future, the conference held in Milan on 20 and 21 March, organised by the Prada Group in partnership with the Yale School of Management and Politecnico di Milano School of Management, provided an opportunity to compare a range of perspectives and experiences while investigating the role that creativity and creative companies can play in building a more sustainable future. There were four topics on the agenda: ‘Brand heritage and market value’, ‘Design for sustainability through innovation and tradition’, ‘Sustainability and value creation’ and ‘Driving creative excellence’.
The conference, attended by over 300 people, including students, professionals and journalists, for the first time saw numerous business leaders from various sectors discussing the topic of sustainability with public institutions, international organisations, lecturers and students. The issue is one of the most difficult challenges to overcome for companies wanting to achieve growth and success in the medium to long term.
Through this conference the Prada Group restated its commitment to promoting discussion on some of the main issues raised by civil society regarding the search for more sustainable solutions.
