During an official ceremony at the Quirinale Palace, Patrizio Bertelli was awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knight of Labour) by Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, along with 24 other new recipients.
This prestigious honour is an important tribute to his entrepreneurial commitment, innovative vision, and significant contribution to promoting and enhancing Made in Italy worldwide.
Each Knight of Labour is accompanied by an Alfiere del Lavoro (Standard Bearer of Labour), young men and women selected from among the best students in Italy for their academic merit, civic engagement, and social participation. Patrizio Bertelli was paired with Sofia Soldavini from Varese, who graduated with honours from the “Enrico Tosi” Technical and Economic Institute in Busto Arsizio and is now studying Business and Market Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
