Church’s, the illustrious British shoemaker with a 150-year legacy rooted in Northamptonshire’s cobbling heartland, unveils its Holiday Campaign for 2025, featuring an eccentric trio of characters putting their own unique spin on British festive traditions.
With creative direction by David James and shot by Phil Poynter, the campaign highlights Church’s both formal and leisure shoes. Throughout their festive escapades, the triumvirate sport a variety of stunning Church’s creations, complementing country casual outfits as well as sophisticated black tie.
Friends Reunited
The campaign begins as the Church’s trio are united at a country pile. Arriving in style, they assemble front of house to discuss the forthcoming festivities, the gents dressed in exemplary countryside tailoring, bookended with Mayfair burnt Oxfords and the rugged yet refined Amberley ebony Chelsea boots. The lady of the manor, with her doting four-legged liege by her side, sports a pair of glossy Alexandra lace-up boots, their shiny patina effect achieved by hand-applying exclusive waxes.
Barnstorming Carols to a Rip-Roaring Fire
The festive revellers change attire for an impromptu carol concert in the stables. The gents’ smart wool overcoats and vibrant knitwear seamlessly blend with Church’s iconic Hampstead and Mayfair Oxfords to provide an additional harmony, while the lady’s studded Opal Met Mary Jane offers retro charm.
With their hearts warmed but alas not their extremities, the singers seek the warmth of an open fire and the company of man’s best friend, casting off formality in favour of slippers, from the buttery soft men’s styles handcrafted in nappa leather, to the lady’s dashing velvet Sovereign style.
An Illuminating Evening
In chic black tie, the trio find themselves in an illuminating entanglement by the Christmas tree as they prepare for an evening of fun and frolics, with the gents sporting Church’s iconic Hertford loafers and Oldford Oxfords, while the lady makes a statement in the Ghillie Met, a kilt shoe by any other name and featuring distinctive criss-cross lacing and decorative studs.
Complementing the old-school elegance of the charming dining room, the trio change into an assortment of stunning velvet and tartan eveningwear in rich winter hues, bookended by an excellent choice of Church’s iconic loafers and Oxfords.
Perhaps fuelled by a brandy-infused Christmas pudding, the trio make a bee-line for the croquet lawn, wearing Church’s exquisite Whaley and Oldford patent calfskin shoes for men, and the elegant burgundy Sovereign velvet slippers for ladies.
Candlelit Elegance
At the end of the night the merrymakers light up the hall with a cascade of candles, clearing a space on the polished stone floor upon which their Church’s leather soles revel in the flickering light.
Church’s also reveals a host of small leather goods and shoe accessories perfect for gifting this season. These include exquisite calf leather billfold and coat wallets; wool scarves and winter gloves crafted from soft Nappa leather and tartan; key fobs, wash bags, suede caps; as well as an extensive collection of leather belts to complement the shoe collection.
Church’s Holiday collection is available from November 10th 2025 in Church’s stores and church-footwear.com.
