Between September and October, Luna Rossa celebrated two important anniversaries: the victory in the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup (September 26th, 2024) and the Puig Women’s America’s Cup (October 12th, 2024), won respectively by the youth and women’s teams.
Both competitions, held as part of the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, marked a historic moment for the world’s oldest sporting trophy. Luna Rossa’s crews competed against eleven international teams made up of the most talented young sailors and the strongest female athletes from their respective countries.
The success of this remarkable double victory confirms the strength of the New Generation project, launched by Luna Rossa to nurture and develop the most promising Italian sailors—men and women alike—offering them a solid path of growth and a shared vision for the future of Italian sailing.
