Luna Rossa took part in the initiative of former professional cyclist Fabio Aru – aimed at promoting the culture of cycling, sustainable mobility, and road safety – by hosting around 120 elementary school children from Cagliari at its base.
The project is part of the “A scuola di bici” (“At School with Bikes”) program, launched by Fabio Aru. During the day, the children took part in a series of activities, such as learning the basic rules for bicycle users and a hands-on demonstration with bike courses to directly experience the correct use of the bicycle and techniques for safe riding.
The choice of Luna Rossa’s base was not accidental: the America’s Cup team, which has marked the history of Italian sailing and chosen Cagliari as its operational headquarters, embodies values that are very close to those of cycling and reinforce the mission of the project: discipline, team spirit, innovation, and great attention to safety.
