From April, the Milan venue of Fondazione Prada is hosting two new exhibitions.
‘Typologien’ an extensive study dedicated to 20th century German photography, curated by Susanne Pfeffer. Following a typological order, the exhibition brings together over 600 photographic works by 25 artists essential to reconstructing a century of photography in Germany: from Bernd and Hilla Becher to August Sander, from Candida Höfer to Andreas Gursky.
‘Nada’ is the monographic exhibition expressively conceived by Belgian artist Thierry De Cordier for the Cisterna building. Ten large-scale paintings, realized between 1999 and 2025, result from the artist’s desire to erase the image of crucifixion. It is an ultimate attempt to experience, to use the artist’s words, ‘the grandeur of nothingness’.
