On 12th September, in a filled complete Sala Maestosto of AriAnteo CityLife, the first of the two Open-air Cinema evenings organised by the Prada Group and dedicated to the Forestami Academy took place. The event was opened by an introduction by Lia Furxhi, Director of Festival CinemAmbiente, in dialogue with Lorenzo Bertelli, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility of the Prada Group and Maria Chiara Pastore, Scientific Director of Forestami and Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, who talked about the Prada Group’s and Forestami’s commitment to involving and educating more and more citizens on the culture of urban forestry through the Forestami Academy project.
The evening continued with the screening of the documentary ‘Il Était Une Forêt’ by director Luc Jacquet, recounting the exploration of the large rainforests narrated by the botanist and ecologist Francis Hallé.
We look forward to seeing you at the next Open-air screening on Sunday 29th September with the documentary ‘Les Saisons’ by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud: a journey into the history of Europe where the sudden growth of an immense forest caused transformations linked to the seasonal cycle, changes to the land and to the evolution of the flora and fauna.
